women against sarah palin

To all the ladies who gave their viewpoint, please know there are fundamentalist Christians and pro-life people who ARE NOT in favor of Sarah Palin and the way she conducts government business or her personal life. I am quite upset that Gov. Palin made promises to constituents to get elected, such as the bridge project, and then cancelled the bridge after she was elected. I would like to know if her redistribution of the bridge funds was legal, and someone should investigate this incident.

Alaska has one of the highest high school drop-out rates in the U.S., and yet she cancelled a decades-old program designed to help students stay in school and graduate. Perhaps there still was a high drop-out rate, but the program had helped many students finish school and have a better life.

Gov. Palin is so proud of her handicapped child, and yet she cut funds for special education by 60 percent. She brags about being pro-life, but she cut a program designed to help teen parents and single mothers. Her arrogance and bragging are not Christian qualities, either. Whatever happened to humility and unselfishness?

I have the impression Gov. Palin is a control freak and that she fanatically promotes herself to get power and authority over other people because it gives her a certain "high" or has a Messianic complex. This is evidenced by her claims to support certain groups, and then she cuts the funding they need or cancels the programs that help them. I think she has a mental problem because she cannot see cause-and-effect and really does not empathize with other people and their difficulties.

At this time American society needs leadership to get people out of the current and dangerous socio-economic situations caused by the Bush policies. Sarah Palin's ideas of running things will only make things worse. At least Senators Obama and Biden identify with the common man and have experience in giving genuine help to people who need it.
